Groom Style – Pinterest Post

As promised in our last post, here’s this weeks Pinterest Weekly post, showing some groom styles taken from Pinterest in the last week. We’ve taken a range of different styles to try and use it to decide what I want to wear!

Traditional

Traditional

This first style I see as being fairly traditional – the formal suit with tails and not too much colour. It’s nice enough and is definitely pretty sophisticated, but I just don’t think it’s me. Plus, it’s unlikely that we will be having a strictly formal, more traditional affair so  I don’t think it will suit the occasion.

3 Piece Suit

Again, this style is quite a traditional and formal affair; a smart 3 piece suit and tie. It’s a little more relaxed that the first style. I could probably see myself wearing this.

White Suit

White Suit

Less traditional still. Again, a formal 3 piece suit – but white or cream. I do really like this and think that the blue on the tie and buttonhole works nicely, but I’m not sure I could pull this off. And would probably spill something down the front. . . .

Comfortable and Stylish

Comfortable and Stylish

I’ve thought a little about this kind of style too; Putting together my own style rather than a matching suit. A nice jacket, trousers and a shirt that are designed to be comfortable as well as stylish. This gives a much more relaxed look, which might suit a less formal wedding. It’s a little different too, which I like.

I decided to finish with these more unusual styles. The last picture in particular shows a number of styles which put me in mind of a more rural, country wedding. The picture above is also quite unusual, with a lot of colour and personality and I quite like these final pictures for that reason. They’re more relaxed, and say more about the groom than I feel the formal attire does.

Whilst these pictures have helped a little I still can’t say I’ve decided on my style yet! Back to Pinterest I go. . .
